The 3rd Annual Manon Rheaume Invitational Tournament is less than 6 weeks away. As the date approaches, we want to give you information as it becomes available.
1) The schedule is in process and we expect to release the final version ~3 weeks out from the event. The tournament has expanded since the first 2 years, which has necessitated the procurement of some additional icetimes. For planning purposes, ALL teams will play their first game Friday morning (some local teams could play Thursday night), and will play again on Friday afternoon. All games on Friday are targeted to be completed by 7:00 pm so that all teams can attend the Banquet. Quarterfinals and some Semifinals will be Saturday night (as well as some consolation games possibly). The remaining semifinals and all Finals will be on Sunday, along with some consolation games Sunday morning if needed. The last Finals game is right now scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm on Sunday, so the entire event will be completed by 4:00 pm on Sunday for all teams.
2) There has been a good response to the Friday night Manon Rheaume Invitational Banquet, We expect that with the number of teams we have in the tournament, the banquet will most likely sell out. The banquet has been a big hit it's first 2 years. Manon will be announcing the guest speaker in the next week, there will be an outstanding 3 course meal, and every player who attends receives a special gift from Manon.

Here are a few items to handle this week for the tournament:
1) If you have not already done so, please contact Bret at Traveling Teams to get your hotel reservations. Most of you have already done so, but there are a few remaining teams left to finalize.
2) Attached is the roster form for the program. It is an Excel document. Please fill it out in its current format. This makes it much easier when it is assembled by the printer. If you do not want to list height and weight of your players, you do not need to do so.
