Suburban Ice - East Lansing Have Fun, Play Hockey

The CCHA, FSN, RBK, the Detroit Red Wings and Perani's Hockey World hosted 35 boys and girls to a "Have Fun, Play Hockey" clinic at Suburban Ice - East Lansing on Sunday, March 2. The free clinic was open to boys and girls who pre-registered and have never played organized hockey before.

All equipment including skates and a stick were provided to participants. Members of the Lansing Catholic high school hockey team were on hand to mentor players on and off the ice.

• Have Fun, Play Hockey Clinic Photo Gallery – Saturday, Dec. 15

  Nearly 50 boys and girls from the Lansing area came out for a free “Have Fun, Play Hockey” clinic at Suburban Ice – East Lansing on Saturday, Dec. 15. An hour of group and one-on-one ice drill drills teaching the fundamentals of the game sent participants home with big smiles and an urge to continue to play the game that over 70,000 players in Michigan are already playing.
