President's Notes - Winter 2009
The
Lansing Skating Club views it's mission as providing
diverse figure skating programs for all levels of skaters
to allow for and encourage the development of programs
which meet the needs of a broad base of skaters while
focusing on a core of elite skating programs necessary
for serious competitive figure skating training, and
to develop a reputation as a premiere training club in
Michigan. The
Lansing Skating Club is an organization
dedicated to the advancement of figure skating in all
its forms. This includes:
- Figure Skating
- Free Style
- Ice Dancing
- Synchronized Skating Teams
- Pair Skating
- Adult Skating
In addition The
Lansing Skating Club supports and sponsors
all their club members in the following:
- Skating sessions
- USFSA Test Advancement Sessions
- Junior Professional Program
- USFSA Judging Program
- Competitions
- Clinics and Seminars
- Exhibitions/Ice Shows
