House Program (B)

For players ready to play at a more competitive level.

 

Standings & Schedules

Goals:

  • Provide a FUN and safe environment to play the game
  • To promote sportsmanship and fair play
  • Players placed at their competitive level so that they enjoy playing the game
  • Parity amongst teams so that every game is meaningful and competitive for the players
  • Educate, encourage and support volunteer coaches

Program will run September-March. Teams offered in Mite-Midget age classifications.  All practices and games played in-house at Suburban Ice–Macomb. Teams are able to scrimmage at other arenas and travel to tournaments at their own costs. 

Players will attend “training camp” during the first p ortion of the league.  Evaluations will be submitted to the MHC staff and teams will be formed with the primary goal of creating parity among all of the teams in the age division so that every game is meaningful and competitive for the players.

Program fees cover: Ice time, Referee fees for league games, District and/or State Entry fees, Home/Away Jerseys and Socks, Picture Package, Year End Party and Awards.

A registration fee of $175 will reserve your spot for the House/B program for the 2006-07 season.  All players who played in the 2005-06 season on a House/B, A or AA team should apply for the House/B program.  All others should consider the Suburban FUNdamental Hockey program.

Travel Program (A & AA)

For players who are looking for outside competition.

The travel teams in the Macomb Hockey Club, called the Macomb Mavericks, are formed via tryouts and will compete in the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League.  We have travel teams at the Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget age classifications. 

Each team will be assigned ice August through March. Travel team parents pay a monthly ice bill to their team manager and in return the manager pays the monthly ice bill to the MHC in seven installments August through February.

All players are required to pay a club fee by September 1st which includes:  LCAHL Entry Fees, Referee scheduling fees of home league games, Picture Package, Year End Gift, Home and Away Jerseys/Socks.
